Important Disney NEWS Is About To Drop This Week

Here at AllEars, we’re obsessed with Disney news, especially if it might mean changes in the parks, on the screens, and beyond. We’re always searching for the latest and most exciting details to share with you.

Sometimes, we don’t know WHEN that news will drop. Other times, though, Disney gives us a hint, and we know that big news could be coming soon, and we prepare ourselves in advance. That’s exactly what we’re doing now, because BIG Disney news could drop in just three days!

Each quarter, Disney holds an earnings call that is open to the public, and it gives us a good insight into what new projects are in the works, along with how the Walt Disney Company is doing financially. 

Disney will often mention projects they’re working on, and sometimes new projects that the company plans to start. We also love hearing information on ticket sales, guest statistics, box office numbers, and everything else happening in the world of Disney.

The last earnings call was back in May, and while we didn’t learn any super big news, we did learn that the price of Disney+ was set to stay the same for at least a few months, and that domestic parks income was up 9 percent.

Lots have changed in the parks since the last earnings call, though, so we’re hoping to hear updates on, perhaps, the expected opening timeline of the new Monsters, Inc. Land in Hollywood Studios, Villains Land in Magic Kingdom, or Tropical Americas in Animal Kingdom.

This can be an essential earnings call because Destination D23 is just around the corner. In a few weeks, Disney will host a huge conference where it announces new Disney projects along with updates on current projects. This event is usually a lot flashier than the earnings call, but combined, we can get a good grasp on what’s happening in the company.
