The Fantastic Four: First Steps just recently released in theaters, and it’s already taking the world by storm!

That includes Disneyland Resort! Not only can you meet the team in Disneyland for a limited time, but you can also try new themed snacks in Disney California Adventure right now. While these two look cool, we’ve got to admit to you that we can’t totally recommend them: here’s why.
Over at Pym Test Kitchen in Disney California Adventure, there are two new Fantastic Four offerings to check out. The Fantastic Elastic Mozzarella Stick is a whopping $14.49, and we were really curious to see if this blue mozzarella stick was worth nearly $15.

It’s massive, it’s VERY blue, and it’s supremely cheesy, but we’ll be honest — it wasn’t anything special. If you’re looking for something cheesy and don’t mind turning your mouth blue, then we say go for it and split it with someone, but we wouldn’t get it again. It’s just like any other mozzarella stick we’ve had, so unless you’re REALLY craving one, we don’t think it’s worth the cost.

The other option is the Invisible Indulgence for $7.59. This is Clear Lemon Pie with a Shortbread Crust, Whipped Cream, and Meringue Pieces, and it certainly looks unique!

This is a great choice if you’re looking for a lighter dessert option, as it’s basically lemon jello on top of a shortbread crust. The meringue pieces don’t have much flavor, but have a light and airy texture, and the lemon was sweet, not tart. Again, it looks cool and is unique, but we don’t necessarily think it’s anything special, and we wouldn’t get it again.
