70 years ago, Walter Elias Disney, did the impossible and opened the ULTIMATE happiest place where all were welcome and all could enjoy.
Yes, it’s been 70 years since Disneyland first opened its gates, and this year and into next year, the park is having its 70th Anniversary Celebration. The Celebration has brought a few new things to the park like a new verse to “it’s a small world” and the first EVER Walt Disney animatronic. It’s also bright some amazing new merchandise, including one collectible we have to share with you.
Meet the Walt Disney Talking Figure that hasn’t just recreated Walt Disney, but also his iconic desk, which he’s sitting on, as we’ve seen him in so many photos and videos.
What makes this collectible so nice are all the little details added to the desk, right down to his pencils and sketches.
However, this collectible also plays an audio track of Walt’s voice giving the Disneyland dedication speech. You know the one that begins with ”To all who come to this happy place: welcome.” This collectible is a MUST for Disney fans.
