Hey, Disney, I have a big question!

There are so many changes coming to Magic Kingdom, like the new Cars area and the Buzz Lightyear update. While those are all fine and dandy, there is one thing still missing in the park that seriously makes me upset!
I have a bone to pick with Disney. (No, it’s not the fact that Muppets has officially closed. I already picked that bone.) Things changed in a major way in 2020, not only around the world, but at Disney as well. While almost everything has returned or been addressed, there is one character meet and greet that is still MIA in Magic Kingdom.
On Main Street U.S.A., you can find Mickey Mouse (who we love, of course) in the Town Square Theater. In the past, he used to share this location with one of my favorite Disney characters of all time, Tinker Bell. After the park closed and reopened, Tinker Bell never returned to this meet and greet, but the space is still there!

After all of these years, they only removed the Tinker Bell sign in 2024, but half of the theater is still unused. You can still see her in the Festival of Fantasy Parade, sure, but that isn’t enough for me!

This meet and greet was a personal one for me. Every time I go to Disneyland, I try to meet Tinker Bell there because I know I can’t do it in Disney World. Frankly, I think I’m super privileged to be able to say that. There are so many people who would love to meet this fairy character, and yet, Disney won’t bring her back to Main Street.

As silly as it may seem, I think of this missing meet and greet every single time I watch Happily Ever After, and she flies over the crowd with kids and adults gasping when they spot her. My formal question is, Disney, why won’t you bring her back? This is me literally begging you to bring this meet and greet back for people of all ages to enjoy!

On the last day of my Disney College Program, I went to meet her because this meet and greet was really that precious in my heart! Now, if they’re working on a super secret project to bring Pixie Hollow to the parks, and that’s why they won’t bring her back to the park, I get it. If it’s any other reason than that, I won’t hear it and I won’t accept it.

So this is my formal plea, if you have to rip Muppet Vision 3D from my hands, at least let Tinker Bell be there to comfort me. (Yeah, I hear how insane this sounds. I don’t care!) So here’s to manifesting for a Pixie Hollow land that isn’t just in Tokyo. As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more Disney discussions!

What character meet and greet do you miss the most? Tell me in the comments!
Oh I would love for Tink to have a Meet and Greet! She has been my favorite for 35 years! Way before it was popular…she influenced my first email address! Where’s the petition?
We had the BEST meet and greet with Tinkerbell at Disneyland 13 years ago when my kids were very young. One of my most precious Disney magic memories. Really sad Pixie Hollow is empty at DL.
