It doesn’t matter if you’re a kid or a kid at heart, who doesn’t love seeing their favorite Disney character come to life at Disney World?!

Everyone talks about the attractions at the Disney parks, but character meet-and-greets are equally as exciting! We love seeing the characters who helped shape our childhood. We recently went to the Magic Kingdom and spotted a Disney icon who has left her mark on Disney since 1964. Oh, and she was with some friends, too!
We were casually strolling down Main Street, U.S.A., as we always do, when we spotted a Disney legend who has taught us many new lessons and taken us on adventures. She even gave us a new word, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

That’s right, we spotted Mary Poppins strolling through Magic Kingdom on Main Street. She wasn’t alone, she had Bert and a penguin friend with her. It was such a surprise to see!

We were able to catch an adorable moment between the characters. How fun!

We talked to a Cast Member about this surprise appearance, and the Cast Member told us that it was…well “a surprise!” The Cast Member hinted to us that the surprise could happen again around the same time.

We saw them at around 4:15 PM, so if you’re out at Magic Kingdom, stop by Main Street around that time to see if you can spot her! There were quite a few Cast Members around the characters, so we believe they must be testing something. Or maybe she was just out to feed the birds!

Mary Poppins is a staple for The Walt Disney Company. She’s helped shape Disney into what it is ever since Mary Poppins was released in 1964. We’re hoping she’s going to be popping up in Magic Kingdom a lot more often!

We’re always on the lookout for any characters that could be popping up at the parks. So make sure to follow us at AllEars, so you can get the latest Disney news and updates.
