In case you missed it, there’s a brand new Harry Potter land, and yes — we’ve already been snacking our way through it.

Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe is shaping up to be the next-level theme park experience we’ve all been waiting for, and one of the most exciting additions is the brand-new Wizarding World area. It’s filled with magic, immersive details, and, of course, a whole new lineup of snacks and drinks to try. We recently stopped by and grabbed six of the most interesting items we could find — and spoiler: some of them seriously surprised us.
Let’s break it down snack by snack.
Le Breuvage Sombre du Gobelet Noir – Le Gobelet Noir
This one caught our eye the second we saw someone walking by with it. It’s called Le Breuvage Sombre du Gobelet Noir and comes in at $7. Don’t worry, you don’t need to speak French to enjoy this — just be ready for a sweet, moody mocktail topped with “eyes of Plimpies” (a.k.a. yogurt-popping pearls).

We’ll be honest — we didn’t expect much, but this was actually incredible. It’s like if a blue raspberry slushie melted and decided to level up into something cooler and smoother. It’s got a rich, dark color that feels very wizard-y, and it’s surprisingly sweet without being over-the-top. The yogurt pearls add a little pop of flavor, but it’s more about the texture than taste. If you’ve got kids (or you’re just mocktail-inclined), this drink will probably be your new go-to.
Lobe Blaster – Bar Moonshine
Over at Bar Moonshine, we went straight for the Lobe Blaster ($17.99), which is as strong as the name sounds. It’s made with moonshine, limoncello, absinthe (yes, really), lemon juice, club soda, and rosemary — so it’s got a lot going on.

First off, this thing is BRIGHT green. The kind of green that practically glows. But don’t let the fun color fool you — this drink is not for chugging. It’s more of a sipping situation, and we mean that seriously. It’s got a refreshing, minty-lemon profile with a slight herbal punch from the absinthe and rosemary. If you like drinks that feel a little sophisticated (and can handle a little kick), this is worth a try. Bonus: it comes in a cute stemless souvenir cup, and we saw plenty of other guests carrying it around too.
Lavender Lemonade – Café L’air de la Sirene
Next up: the Lavender Lemonade ($5.50). Sounds fancy, right? We thought so too.

Here’s the deal — it’s great lemonade, but the lavender? Kinda missing in action. A team member swore it’s in there, but if you’re expecting that floral, spa-like vibe, you’ll probably be let down. Still, it’s refreshing, especially on a hot day, so we’re not mad about it. Just maybe rename it “Regular Lemonade in a Fancy Cup” and call it a day.
Bièraubeurre Glacée Non-Dary – Café L’air de la Sirene
We couldn’t NOT try the non-dairy Butterbeer. It’s officially called Bièraubeurre Glacée Non-Dary and goes for $8.99. If you’ve had Butterbeer before at the other Universal parks, this one will taste exactly the same.

No surprises here — it’s sweet, creamy, and nostalgic in all the right ways. But the fact that it’s non-dairy? Huge win for anyone with dietary restrictions. Honestly, we’d order this again even without the need to go dairy-free. It’s just a solid Butterbeer.
Bièraubeurre Crepe – Café L’air de la Sirene
Now let’s talk about the showstopper: the Bièraubeurre Crepe ($19.99). This thing is basically dessert magic. Two crepes stacked and stuffed with butterscotch sauce, then topped with strawberries, whipped cream that tastes exactly like the Butterbeer foam, and a stamped shortbread cookie.

We have to be real — this thing is SWEET. Like, very sweet. But it nails the Butterbeer flavor in dessert form. The whipped cream alone is worth writing home about. The cookie? Eh, a little dry and not our fave. The crepes themselves are more of a vehicle for the butterscotch, which is totally fine because that filling is incredible. We definitely recommend sharing this one, but Butterbeer fans, do not skip it.
Vegan Croissant – Café L’air de la Sirene
Last but definitely not least: the Vegan Croissant. Yes, we were skeptical too. A buttery, flaky croissant… with no dairy?

Believe it. This thing is kind of perfect. Flaky, soft, and just rich enough without being greasy. We don’t say this lightly — we’d order it again in a heartbeat. It’s a great little grab-and-go snack if you’re looking for something less sugary to balance out all that Butterbeer.
