There are SO MANY restaurants across Disney World, and choosing one can be overwhelming. However, there are some red flags you can watch out for when making your selection!

Now, these “red flags” aren’t necessarily “dealbreakers” per se. All the restaurants may still be good, and even great depending on one’s preferences. However, they are things to keep an eye on when booking.
Open Slots
This one can be a bit of a mixed bag. If you’re looking for a Disney World restaurant and find one with a slew of wide-open wait times, that could be looked at as a good thing! After all, finding an open reservation can be tricky. However, be wary that it could also indicate that the restaurant isn’t as popular as some others. That could be due to location, prices, a perceived downturn in food, or all of the above.
Multiple Dollar Signs
This one is pretty self-explanatory: Price. Some Disney World restaurants are more expensive than others and multiple dollar signs on the restaurant’s website or app entry is a clue as to just how expensive the meal is going to be.

Minimum Age Requirements
EPOCT’s Monsieur Paul in the World Showcase’s France Pavilion and Takumi-Tei in the World Showcase’s Japan Pavilion — both have minimum age requirements. The former requires guests be at least 10 years of age, while the latter requires 8 years of age.

Meanwhile, the dining room at the Grand Floridian’s Victoria and Albert’s also features an age limit of 10. While this shouldn’t be a dealbreaker for anyone, it is something parents and other parties with children should keep in mind when planning their Disney World vacations.
