Are you sleeping on EPCOT’s most underrated restaurant?
We love EPCOT for its fantastic rides and entertainment — but the biggest draw, perhaps, is its FOOD. With several restaurants and dining spots to choose from, it can be impossible to settle on a place. Allow us to suggest an underrated gem.
While we consider ourselves Sunshine Seasons loyalists at EPCOT and usually opt for festival snacks, we recently decided to do something different and go with EPCOT’s largest quick-service spot, Connections Eatery — and “wow” are we glad we did!
Featuring dishes inspired by Italian, French, and Asian cuisines, Connections offers burgers, chicken, pizza, salads, sides, and even seasonal festival offerings!

We’ll cut to the chase — Connections Eatery is really good for two major reasons.
The first reason is the food — of course! We’re BIG fans of the chicken Hand-breaded Chicken Sandwich (made with pickles, zesty sauce, and a toasted brioche bun), which often reminds us of a Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich. Make sure you get extra zesty sauce!
In a recent visit, we also dug the French Bistro Burger (served with a gourmet beef blend, caramelized onions, bacon, brie, mushrooms, dijon mayonnaise, and a toasted brioche bun). The burger was absolutely delicious. It was nicely earthy and packed with flavor, but be warned that the burger is VERY heavy.
On top of the food delivering in spades, we have to admit there’s another big reason to visit Connections…the A/C! Connections does have air conditioning, which is an absolute blessing on a hot day when all you want is some good food and a place to escape the sun.
All in all, we recommend stopping by. Good eats in air conditioning? That’s a winning combo in our book, and we can’t wait to visit again!
