Universal Orlando’s NEWEST Hotel — Terra Luna — Is Now OPEN!

Universal’s newest hotel is ready for LIFTOFF, and we’re ready too!

Universal Terra Luna Resort – – the second of three new hotels that the company is opening adjacent to the upcoming Epic Universe theme park – – has joined sister hotel the Stella Nova Resort in being open and we are bringing you with us to explore this new hotel!

Universal Terra Luna Resort is “inspired by the thrill of exploring the unknown and pushing the limits of discovery.” The new hotel features a resort-style pool, firepit, game room, and several restaurant and lounge options, including a pool bar and grill and pizza delivery.

In addition to all the amenities at the hotel, Terra Luna guests also receive exclusive theme park benefits, like Early Park Admission and complimentary transportation throughout the Universal Orlando Resort.

So, what did we think of the hotel? Let’s dive in!

Alright, we may have been a bit too excited about our check-in day at this new hotel and arrived a bit too early. We arrived right around 8:30 AM. The address for Terra Luna is still inaccurate, and our rideshare ended up taking us to Universal Stella Nova. The new hotel didn’t officially open until 11 AM, so we took the extra time to explore the area more.

One of the first things we noticed was that there was no clear walking path from Universal Terra Luna to Epic Universe. Universal Stella Nova has a great path to the brand-new park, but Universal Terra Luna does not. To walk to Epic Universe from Terra Luna, you would need to walk under a big overpass, and with all the traffic it likely won’t be a good way to get to Epic Universe.

Luckily, Terra Luna offers complimentary transportation to all the Universal theme parks, but the walking path from Universal Stella Nova is definitely a huge perk that you won’t get at Terra Luna!

After our escapade, we made our way to Terra Luna for its grand opening! Team members lined up in the lobby, welcoming every guest who came through the front revolving doors.

There were even some dancing robots that were all glammed up, welcoming you to the new hotel!

We also got to meet a HUGE celebrity! Frank the Pug was hanging out in the lobby, and Quincy got to snap a photo with him. We are definitely feeling starstruck.

We also stopped by all of the dining locations here, including Omega Cafe and Market…

…which is serving up some SERIOUSLY good eats.

We headed to Moonrise Bar and Grill and grabbed a drink…

…and we stopped by the lobby bar, Luna Bar, as well!

We also stopped by the pool, which is AWESOME!

Each of the pool chairs has a QR code you can scan to order from Moonrise Bar and Grill.

And, the Universal merch store in here is pretty epic as well. There are plenty of fandoms to shop from, as well as some Epic Universe merchandise.
