PHOTOS: See What Christmas Day is REALLY Like in Disney World!

Christmas is here!

Magic Kingdom Christmas

The Holiday season is one of the busiest at Walt Disney World, with events including Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Jollywood Nights, and EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays (including performances of the Candlelight Processional) drawing in huge crowds. But just how crowded is the holiday itself? We were on scene to find out!

We knew it was going to be a busy day the moment we pulled up to park — cars were backed up all the way outside the entrance to the TTC! It only took us about 20 minutes to get through, and then it was time to park and head inside.

A little backed up!

Once we arrived at the TTC, there was a long line to get into security, but it looked worse than it really was. It only took us around 10 minutes to get through security, and then we were headed onto the Monorail, which only took us about 5 minutes!

Don’t be fooled by the long line!

As we entered the Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day, we found early crowds to be pretty intense over on Main Street U.S.A., but it wasn’t too wild.

When it came to attractions, the highest we saw in the morning was Seven Dwarfs Mine Train around 70 minutes around 9:30AM.

Jingle Cruise was also at a 55 minute wait, Peter Pan’s Flight at 50 minutes, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 40 minutes around the same time.

Christmas Day at Walt Disney World proved to be about as busy as we expected it to be, but even with high crowds, there are still tons of ways to have a fantastic day in Disney World. Stay tuned to AllEars for further coverage of Disney’s Holiday crowds!
