It’s Official. This Will Be Disney’s Most Popular NEW Fireworks Viewing Spot

Disney World’s newest hotel is almost open!

The Island Tower lobby

The brand-new Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will officially open on December 17th, 2024, but we are here for a sneak peek before opening day!

The Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is the newest Disney Vacation Club hotel at Disney World. We are getting to experience everything this new resort has to offer, and we are taking you all along with us!

This resort is amazing!

Not only are we checking out the new rooms, but we are also getting the chance to explore the tropical terrace hideaways. Guests at the Island Tower have access to four terrace gardens that are each inspired by a Polynesian island. You will find a garden highlighting the flora and artwork of Bora Bora, Hawaiʻi, Samoa, and Fiji. These are exclusively available for guests and Disney Vacation Club members staying at the tower.

Each terrace offers gorgeous views, including views of Magic Kingdom (and the fireworks!) on one side and Disney’s Oak Trail and Magnolia Golf Course on the other.

Disney confirmed that you will be able to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from two Terrace Gardens (the ones facing the park). This will DEFINITELY be the hottest new spot to see the fireworks! These terraces will even pipe in the music during the fireworks! Note that you MUST be a resort guest to access these terraces; the elevator requires you to scan your room card or MagicBand to get there.

This thing looks comfortable!
