Some big construction projects are happening in 2025 at Disney World!

With hotel updates, new rides, new restaurants, and lands closing to make way for ongoing projects, we’ve got a lot to be excited about. But one thing you may not have thought about yet is that several Disney World bathrooms are going to close to make way for construction!
DinoLand, U.S.A. Bathrooms
Starting out this conversation, we’re heading to DinoLand, U.S.A., where a section of the land is closing in early January to make way for the new Tropical Americas offering in Animal Kingdom. The DinoRama part of the land will close first, which means we’ll likely lose the bathrooms next door to Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures.

The other bathrooms in the land are located at Restaurantosaurus, but that area won’t be closed until later on in the construction process. We’ll make sure to let you know if they get added to the 2025 list.
Muppets Courtyard Bathrooms
Another land that will likely close in 2025? Muppets Courtyard. We know that construction on the new Monsters, Inc.-themed Land will begin next year, so we suspect we’ll lose access to two restrooms in this area. The first are the bathrooms located inside Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano.

The other restrooms are the iconic Gonzo’s Royal Flush bathrooms, located at the front of the land and connected to PizzeRizzo. We’ll definitely miss these massive bathrooms!

Thankfully, there are restrooms nearby across from Star Tours that guests can use.
Tom Sawyer Island Bathrooms
In Magic Kingdom, Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat will be closing in 2025 to make way for two new Cars attractions. Because of this, both sets of restrooms on Tom Sawyer Island will close. One set is located at the dock, while the other is located out at Fort Langhorn.

The Fort Langhorn restrooms are perhaps the most secluded and “exclusive” in Magic Kingdom, so we’ll be sad to see them go. Alas, we’re making way for bigger things!
Bathrooms That Are Currently Closed
And wrapping up this post, we’ve got to mention two bathroom locations that are currently closed in Magic Kingdom — we don’t know if they’ll be reopening in 2025 or not. First, we’ve got the bathrooms inside Tortuga Tavern, which have been closed as long as the restaurant has been unavailable.

Also, the restrooms next to Pinocchio Village Haus have been out of commission for many months now. They seem to be under construction, but Disney has given no indication of when they might reopen.

That’s a wrap on the list of restrooms closing in Disney World in 2025! We’ll keep you in the loop with any more news.
