The famous Disneyland candy cane has returned!
It isn’t the holiday season without this handmade festive treat, so we stopped by Disneyland Park to grab this iconic candy cane.
These candy canes are made by hand at Disneyland and are always in very high demand! This year, you can get a candy cane from either Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen in Disneyland Park or Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure.
However, you must be a bit strategic if you want your own Disneyland candy cane. First, the candy canes are only available on certain days at the two locations. Here is a complete list of the days the candy canes will be available:
Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen at Disneyland
- November 29th
- December 1st
- December 3rd
- December 8th
- December 10th
- December 15th
- December 17th
- December 22nd
- December 24th
Trolley Treats at Disney California Adventure
- November 30th
- December 2nd
- December 4th
- December 9th
- December 11th
- December 16th
- December 18th
- December 23rd
- December 25th
Second, these candy canes are VERY popular, and there is only a limited quantity available each day. If your heart is set on getting one, we recommend rope-dropping the candy cane location.
When we got our candy cane on December 3rd, we headed straight to Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen when the park opened. Upon arrival, we were directed to join a line. Disneyland has also announced that they will likely utilize a wristband or mobile waitlist system for the candy canes, however, when we got ours we just waited in a normal line.
We were super impressed by their efficiency, and we secured the candy cane in no time! The Cast Members already had the candy canes ready to go, so it was a simple and quick process. The candy canes cost $21.99 each and are limited to one per guest per day. No discounts apply to the purchase, either. You can only purchase a candy cane in person; candy canes are not available on mobile order.
When we walked by an hour after the park opened, we noticed they were still letting people into the line. However, the line was very long, and we think you can save time by heading to the candy cane location first.
Now it is REALLY beginning to feel like Christmas with our candy cane in hand! They always look so pretty each year, and it is always hard to convince ourselves to eat them. Stay tuned to AllEars for all your Disneyland news!
