NEWS: 4 NEW Holiday Offerings Announced for Disney World

The holiday season is almost here which means Disney World is about to get VERY festive!

It’s no secret that Disney World likes to go all out for the holidays with fun decorations, special merch and food offerings, and parties. Well, the gifts just keep on coming as Disney announced new ways to celebrate the holiday season at a couple of Disney World Parks!

As part of planned holiday announcements throughout this week, Disney revealed that several new and returning holiday celebrations are coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom starting November 12th, 2024!

Guests visiting Animal Kingdom during the holidays in past years might have noticed Kris Kringle waving as he sailed around the waterways during the holiday cavalcade, but now Santa is about to come ashore and meet his fans!

This holiday season, Animal Kingdom will offer a Santa Claus meet-and-greet at the 75th Annual Dino Institute Holiday Party on the patio at Restaurantosaurus! Catch him before Christmas, though, as you will only be able to meet him until Christmas Eve, December 24th. Hey, Santa’s got places to be after all!

Also returning to Animal Kingdom this year is the Merry Menagerie at Discovery Island featuring puppets of winter animals of all sorts, including an adorable penguin puppet. You can also meet Mickey and Minnie dressed in their “festive finest” at Adventurers Outpost.

Also returning is the popular Tree of Life Awakenings holiday experience! This seasonal offering promises to “bring the spirits of winter animals to life” and we can’t wait to see it in action again!

Heading over to Hollywood Studios, this park is no stranger to festive activities. Home to Disney Jollywood Nights, Hollywood Studios will now offer three new entertainment acts starting November 12th!

Juggling Elves will feature the famous holiday helpers as they “deliver festive cheer with a side of shenanigans as they show off their skills of juggling, comedy, and more!”

The Holiday Spirit Band is a “dynamic brass group” that will surely get you into the festive spirit.

Finally, Season Jukebox offers the “performance and pep of a collegiate marching band”, fully equipped with “hard-hitting horns, rocking drummers, and dazzling dancers” that bring to life holiday classics.

Also coming to Hollywood Studios on November 12th is the holiday overlay to For the First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, It’s A Wonderful Shop Santa Meet and Greet, and the Sunset Seasons Greetings projections show on The Hollywood Tower Hotel along with “snowfall” on Sunset Boulevard!
