You can make LEGO magic come October…

Iconic toymaker LEGO has announced several major sets this year, including a fee based on Disney properties including the Nightmare Before Christmas. Now they’ve announced another new Disney set for pre-order, and it’s certainly unique.
Instead of depicting a single Disney character or film, the latest LEGO Ideas set aims to capture the full breadth of Disney Magic by featuring a gigantic Sorcerer Mickey surrounded by vignettes and characters from several Disney films. The large set retails for $99.99, is available for pre-order NOW, and is scheduled to ship on October 1st, 2024.

Decked out in full Fantasia attire and magical pose, the Sorcerer Mickey is at the center of the model, with the surrounding characters including “the first-ever LEGO Minifigure of Belle from Beauty and the Beast with the enchanted rose. Other vignettes include Geppetto on a raft in Pinocchio, Lilo surfing in Lilo & Stitch, Simba atop Pride Rock in The Lion King, Bruno at Madrigal House in Encanto, the magic Brooms carrying water in Fantasia and Sebastian the crab and Flounder the fish in The Little Mermaid.”
The 1,103-piece set measures measures over 7.5 in. (19 cm) high, 10.5 in. (27 cm) wide and 6.5 in. (17 cm) deep.

The Magic of Disney set is part of LEGO’s Ideas program. Each set produced in the mostly adult collector-oriented line features designs “created by a fan designer, voted for by LEGO fans, and produced by the LEGO Group.

This Magic of Disney set is about the closest you can come to having Fantastic in your home, and that alone might make it worth it as a display piece for the biggest Disney aficionados, it’s available for pre-order NOW!
