We’ve seen quite a few merchandise trends come and go in Disney World.
There were the days of designer Minnie ears, where you could spend big bucks on headbands. Or maybe the seasons of Spirit Jerseys, when everyone in the parks seemed to be wearing one. And of course, we had the Starbucks tumbler craze that often caused mass chaos in The Emporium at Magic Kingdom. But now, there’s a new trend on the streets…well, Main Street, U.S.A. that is.
Recently, Disney’s latest merchandise trend has been the create-your-own character headbands. These originally became popular at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, but then Disney brought them to the U.S.! Now you can find them in select locations around Disneyland Resort and Disney World.
If you’ve been waiting to get in on this trend, then now is your chance! To celebrate the release of Inside Out 2, some NEW character options are now available. Check them out!
You can now find little plush characters for Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, Disgust, Ennui, Anxiety, Envy, and Embarrassment at Disney Ever After in Disney Springs. For the Disneyland Resort friends, you can find them at The Mad Hatter at Disneyland Park and Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff at Disney California Adventure.
In addition to those spots, we’ve also seen character headbands at Riverside Depot in Animal Kingdom, so you may be able to find the Inside Out 2 characters there. Keep in mind that these are limited availability, so you’ll want to hurry and snag them if you’re hoping to add to your collection.
These are such a fun and unique alternative to Minnie ears for your next park visit — we’ve already seen plenty of people wearing them around in the past few months! We can’t wait to see what characters Disney drops in the future.
