If you love eating at Disney World, you know that Animal Kingdom is one of the best places to be!
It’s home to some of our favorite restaurants and snacks around Disney World, especially this one “hidden” restaurant that people seriously cannot stop raving about, so you know that means we’ve got to talk about it!
As we were saying, Animal Kingdom’s got this one “hidden” restaurant that people keep raving about. We’re talking about the Nomad Lounge! Let’s dive right in!
Nomad Lounge
Firstly, you can find this restaurant located right next to Tiffins and right before you cross the bridge into Pandora — The World of Avatar.
Now, this spot is truly a hidden gem. It’s got hand-crafted cocktails with African, Asian, and South American flavors. You’ll also find beer, wine, and other nonalcoholic cocktails inspired by those regions on the menu.
Listen, the food here is incredible. You can find a “rotating” menu with seasonal specials like tuna poke bowls, chicken satay, bao buns, and more. There is also a dedicated kids menu, so the kiddos won’t have to feel left out.
Now, let’s have a look at some of your thoughts on the Nomad Lounge:
AE reader nlg0517 gave a rating of 8 out of 10 and shared, “We were lucky to get a spot on the waitlist within 10 minutes of checking. Originally they were going to seat us with another group but granted our request for a private sitting area. The service was very good. There were people in our party with a gluten allergy and he was very conscientious about it. I ordered the Jenn’s tattoo which a little too sweet for my liking. The watermelon over powered the hibiscus flavor. My daughter had the Zingiber Fizz which was really good. We split the churros and had some charcuterie. The churros were very good, crispy and light not greasy at all. The charcuterie is a pretty straightforward board. Tiffins is one of my favorite places to eat so I’m glad the Nomad lounge was just as good.”
AE reader mbolton02 gave a rating of a 10 out of 10 and mentioned, “One of the best meals I had in Disney World while on honeymoon. We shared Tiffins bread service and pineapple-glazed pork belly and they were both delicious. I didn’t expect much from the food in Disney but the food and service blew my mind. A very pleasant surprise.”
AE reader HannahJane gave a rating of a 10 out of 10 and mentioned, “A must do in Animal Kingdom!” and we’ve got an anonymous rating of a 10 out of 10 with, “Wonderful break spot for drinks and snacks. A+ atmosphere and unique and quality menu.”
Last up, we’ve got an anonymous rating of a 10 out of 10 with, “Cast Members are extremely attentive and knowledgable. Cocktails are very creative and refreshing. If you are intimidated by the cocktail menu just let the cast member know what you enjoy in a drink and they will steer you in the right direction. The Mocktail menu is inventive, a great option non alcoholic drinkers. The tuna poke bowl is a light midday snack to enjoy with your beverage.”
