Have you ever thought, we mean really thought, about how long you wait for things at Disney World?

No, we’re not talking about how long you’re waiting until you get on that next ride. Nor are we bringing up the amount of time you wait for that meet and greet with your favorite character. Nope. We want to talk about how long you wait for food and specifically that you’re waiting too long for it! But that’s why we’re here. Let’s talk about what you’ll want to do to shave off some of that wait time!
As we said, chances are that you’re waiting longer than you need to when you’re getting food at Disney World. Let’s talk about a way you can save yourself some much-needed time!
Mobile Order Needs To Become Your New BFF
First things first, you are already using Mobile Order, RIGHT?? If you’re not already using it, you’re seriously missing out because it can be a total game-changer. Instead of standing in line, you can order your food straight from your phone and pick it up when it’s ready. It doesn’t get easier than that.

But here’s what you might not have known: Mobile Order isn’t just available at Disney-operated spots. Take this for example — we recently stopped by Java, a quick-service gem at the Walt Disney World Swan hotel, and to our pleasant surprise, we found out they offer mobile ordering!

In order to take advantage of it, you’ll need to download the Swan and Dolphin app.

In this example, if you’re looking to Mobile Order at Java, you’ll have to navigate to “Grab & Go Pickup.”

Then scroll down until you find Java.

Now, if you’re thinking, “It’s just coffee and snacks, what’s the big deal?” Well, think again.

This convenience is off the charts. You’ll be able to grab your food and latte without having to wade through the crowds of caffeine-craving park-goers.

Plus, since it’s a third-party spot, that means not every Disney fan even knows about this yet, which means you’ll already be ahead of the game.

You can also take advantage of this over at Disney Springs. Take Polite Pig, for example.

We adore this BBQ joint, but the line can get seriously intense, especially during peak times. But guess what? (You know the drill.) Mobile Order to the rescue!

You can order ahead while you’re browsing the shops, and then just swoop in to pick up your food like a Disney dining pro. No wait, no hassle.

There you have it. That’s a bit on how you can save time when it comes to getting your food at Disney World. In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
