Disney Reveals MAJOR Changes Coming to a Popular Restaurant

We’re headed to the West Coast to bring you some breaking food news!

Disneyland has been hit by several closures recently! Frontierland is certainly being hit the hardest with closures as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Hungry Bear Restaurant, and Davy Crockett’s Canoes are all currently closed. (But don’t worry, you can still get to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge from the Frontierland entrance.) But now, Disney has shared some exciting news for Critter Country!

Hungry Bear Restaurant has been a popular spot to grab a bite to eat and critter watch. Until its recent closure on July 8th, you could stop by for a burger, honey-spiced chicken sandwich, citrus chicken salad, and a funnel cake. But now, we have learned that when this restaurant reopens, it will have a new menu AND name!

When the Hungry Bear Restaurant reopens opens it will be called Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree and it will feature the Country Bears! You’ll get to enjoy the bears’ favorite regional barbecue dishes while listening to their soundtrack of greatest hits.

More information such as a full menu, concept, and reopening date will be coming at a later date, however, Disney did share that while you’ll get to enjoy the Country Bears’ favorite food and music, this new restaurant will NOT be a character meal. We’ll never pass up on a delicious barbecue spot, though!
