EPCOT’s La Cava del Tequila Has a New SECRET Cocktail...and We Know How to Get It!

One of EPCOT’s most popular bars has an EXCLUSIVE new drink.

La Cava del Tequila, located in EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion, is one of our favorite EPCOT locations. If you’ve never been this “immersive and vibrant space” features “over 200 agave spirits—including tequila, mezcal, and other agave-based offerings.” And now, they’re offering a new cocktail… to those eligible.

Members of D23 — Disney’s fan club — can now enjoy an “exclusive mystery cocktail” at La Cava del Tequila that D23 calls the “perfect blend of suspense and spirits, sure to shake up your taste buds!”

However, getting this exclusive cocktail isn’t as easy as you’d expect. If you’re a D23 member, you’ll need to show your D23 Membership, and then use the password “Firefly” — yes, there’s really a password — during your in-person dining experience. Also, just to be clear, the mystery cocktail isn’t free. It costs $18 plus tax.

And don’t think these rules aren’t enforced. We’ve seen non-D23 members attempt to order the cocktail, only to be rebuffed.

However, a friend of the site and D23 member @figmentloverforever shared some photos of the “mystery cocktail” with us.

It does look quite appetizing, we must admit.

In addition, we received conflicting reports as to whether the cocktail came with anything else. Initially, we were told there was a “whole package” of things that came with the drink, including a poster. However, none of that was given to a D23 Gold Member we knew when they said “Firefly” and ordered the drink.

The new exclusive drink furthers the theme and ambiance of La Cava, which according to Disney is a place where guests can imbibe “the essence of Mexico with over 200 tequilas, top-shelf cocktails, Mexican beer and wine. Take off with a tequila flight or a wild passion fruit margarita. Light snacks such as guacamole and queso with corn chips are served.”

D23 members can indulge in this brand new “secret cocktail” — password and all — at La Cava until July 1st, 2025. Stay tuned to AllEars for more Disney World dining updates.
