Here’s a Super Weird Fact About Disney World’s Controversial Turkey Legs. You’re Welcome.

We NEED to know where you stand on this Disney World debate. Turkey legs — yay or nay?!

We can tell how Emma feels about turkey legs…

There are some things Disney adults will never agree on like whether the parks should keep updating beloved attractions or adding sleeker-looking rooms to classic hotels. But the turkey leg debate might be the most notorious fight of them all! No matter where you stand, we noticed a very strange fact about this controversial snack and we felt the need to share it with you. You’re welcome.

Okay, here it goes — two Disney World parks do NOT offer turkey legs. Like, not AT ALL. Isn’t that strange?!

Turkey Legs

It may be controversial, but turkey legs are still a popular snack…so why are they missing from both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom? We noticed this mentioned on a planDisney response and then confirmed with Cast Members that there are no turkey leg locations in those parks.

We could possibly see an argument being made at Animal Kingdom with shows like Winged Encounters and Feathered Friends in Flight. After all, it could be a little weird for those birds to see people eating their turkey cousins while they are just doing their job. But Disney serves chicken in the park so there goes that argument!

On the other hand, Hollywood Studios seems like a spot where you should be able to grab a turkey leg. Scratching your head right now? Yeah, we’re right there with you.

You won’t find ANY turkey legs here

Cast Members were also not exactly sure why this is, so for now it will remain a mystery.🕵️

If you happen to be looking for a hunk of meat to chow down on in those parks, don’t worry — you’ve got options. At Animal Kingdom, we highly recommend stopping by Flame Tree Barbecue. There are many meat-based dishes and you can even try them all with the Ribs, Chicken, and Pulled Pork Sampler!

Over at Hollywood Studios, you can grab a hefty burger at Sci-Fi Dine-In to satisfy your cravings. Just look at this thing!

We’re also huge fans of the Ronto Wrap at Ronto Roasters (and Docking Bay 7 after 3PM) which is made with roasted pork, grilled pork sausage, peppercorn sauce, and slaw wrapped in pita bread. It’s much better than a turkey leg — trust us.

Let’s start in Magic Kingdom, one of the easiest places to find this snack. Liberty Square Market, located in (you guessed it) Liberty Square is one of the easiest places to grab a turkey leg. These are served starting at 11AM and one will cost you $13.49.

Over in Fantasyland, you’ll also find turkey legs at Prince Eric’s Village Market. Here, it’s served with chips for a total of $15.49.

Late-night turkey leg cravings may happen and if that’s the case for you, Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square sells them too. The catch is that you can’t grab one here until after 9PM! Luckily this restaurant has Mobile Order making this the only place in the park to purchase a turkey leg from your phone. Come on convenience!

Your go-to turkey leg spot in EPCOT has to be Fife & Drum Tavern back in the American Adventure pavilion. There’s nothing like a turkey leg snack in the middle of drinking around the world, that’s for sure! The jumbo turkey leg at this stand will run you $14.25. There’s a big sign on the building so there’s no missing it!

  1. I love the Turkey Legs, every time I go to Disney World I have to have one. It’s been a while since I’ve been, the last time I was there they went for about six or seven dollars but fourteen and up, come on Disney. Don’t you have enough money yet. The Park prices is one of the things that has kept me away not to mention the politics for about the last eight to ten years.

  2. I was a fan of the turkey leg back when they were. Around $6.00. At $14 I’ll look elsewhere for a snack or meal for that matter
