ALERT! 2 Ride CLOSURES Will Affect Disney World This Week

Rides temporarily close all the time in Disney World.

Cinderella Castle

Outdoor rides might close if there’s lightning nearby or a ride may have some small bug that needs to be worked out by Cast Members. There are many reasons why a ride may shut down briefly during the day. Regardless, temporarily closed rides usually reopen within a matter of hours or less. However, some rides will be closed for extended periods due to refurbishments that need to be done or even bigger projects like re-theming a ride. That’s what is going on with two rides in Disney World this week.
