MAJOR Changes Hit a Popular Disney World Hotel Restaurant Next Week!

Disney World is forever changing, and although sometimes it can be painful (yes, I’m still sad about The Great Movie Ride), it’s also what makes Disney, Disney.

The parks will see some pretty major changes this year with the grand opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and a revamped Country Bear Jamboree show this summer. Now, in exactly one week, a popular character dining spot is returning…but it’s going to look totally different!

We’re heading over to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort to talk about 1900 Park Fare! The restaurant has been closed since 2020, but on April 10th, the character dining restaurant will be open to visitors for the first time in forever. (Yes, that was a Frozen pun)

In the past, you could meet characters like Alice in Wonderland, The Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Winnie the Pooh, Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, and the Step Sisters.

When the restaurant reopens, you’ll get to meet some new characters including Aladdin (in his Prince Ali look), Cinderella, Mirabel, and Tiana (in her NEW outfit for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure).

On top of that, there will be new decor inside the restaurant. We recently saw the doors get a makeover outside the restaurant.

Don’t worry — the Strawberry Soup is returning! However, there will be new items to try. Check out the full menu here.

Remember to book a reservation because we have a feeling this place will be pretty popular when it reopens! Reservations are open now or if your trip is further away, you can book dining reservations 60 days ahead of your visit.
