At the April 3rd meeting, Iger was asked why Disney hasn’t “kept up” with Universal’s Epic Universe opening in 2025. Iger said that couldn’t be further from the truth, and shared, “…the agreement with Central Florida Tourism Oversight District reached last week was a win-win in terms of our ability to pursue future building opportunities.”

He continued, “There’s much more coming to our parks around the world, including Florida.”
