Disney World is known for great special ticketed events like after-hours in the parks and a few seasonal holiday parties. But if you’re really looking for a unique experience you won’t find anywhere else at Disney World, we’d recommend trying out this Disney Springs event!

Disney Springs is home to so many incredible restaurants and sometimes narrowing down your choices to try out next might seem like an impossible task. But, if there was a way you could try several and not have to choose just one, would you do it?
It’s not every day that you get to experience multiple Disney Springs restaurants at once so when we heard about a special one-day event that would allow us to try out 3 of the restaurants there, we jumped at the opportunity! This was a one day event that folks could enter for $75 per ticket, but it’s totally possible that the event could come back to Disney Springs.

Tickets were sold online for an exclusive event called Sip, Savor, & Stroll where attendees were treated to a few of Disney Springs’ most popular restaurants. The event was held from 4:30 to 8PM and you could select a staggered time to arrive to start your experience. Sip, Savor, & Stroll included both sips and savory offerings to try from The Edison, Enzo’s Hideaway, and Maria and Enzo’s Ristorante.

Our check-in location started us at The Edison where we were escorted to a section of the restaurant reserved for the event and treated to the Sunny Disposition Porthole and The Edison’s sourdough grilled cheese, lemon-basil tomato soup shooter.

Let’s talk about this drink first — the Sunny Disposition Porthole. This one is made of St. Augustine cane vodka, Lillet Blanc, Giffard Crème de Fraise des Bois, and local Florida produce.

Its ingredients are locally sourced and it made its appearance during last year’s Flavors of Florida lineup. It’s beautiful to look at and tastes just as divine. We felt like we got a healthy mix of citrus and floral hints in this drink with the smooth-tasting vodka being the most forward force of this one.
Once we had a take a few sips of our drink it was time for something savory and this dish didn’t disappoint! The Edison’s sourdough grilled cheese, lemon-basil tomato soup shooter was up next and was delicious!

It was served to us with the tomato basil soup shooter separate which was thick and warm (just perfect for dipping).

The cheese on the inside of the grilled cheese sandwich pieces was already melted to the bread and it was toasted to a golden crisp on the outside while remaining light and fluffy on the inside of the bread.

After we finished our plates here it was time to move on to Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar!

We were ushered to another section of this restaurant reserved for the event and were quickly brought out a glass of water, an Enzoni, and a Saffron Arancini to try.

The Enzoni was beautiful! It was made to leave you with a dry taste that would pair with the Saffron’s crisp-flavored edges and we think this restaurant pulled off its vision excellently.

It’s made of Ford’s gin, muddled grapes, Campari, lemon juice, and simple syrup. If you like a gin-based drink that is on the sweeter side you’d really enjoy this one. The lemon juice gave it a bit of a sour taste, but the grapes helped soften the bite and helped even it out.
The Saffron Arancini was served shortly after tasting the Enzoni and it almost looked too good to eat! It’s made of fior di latte mozzarella and citrus-roasted garlic aioli.

As we cut into the Saffron Arancini, we felt like it cut through easily with very little resistance. The inside was warm and reminded us of risotto or sticky rice with creamy mozzarella cheese in the center.

This one, however, was prettier than it tasted. On the inside of it, there’s not much flavor, which was a bit disappointing. We felt like this one needed the help of the flavors from outside of the crisp casing. We got what the chefs were going for with this dish, but it didn’t translate as bursting with flavor to us without a little bit of extra help.

Shortly after finishing our offerings here, we were whisked away to our third and final stop for the night — Maria and Enzo’s Ristorante.

We were treated to outdoor seating right by the Characters In Flight balloon and the neighboring water which gave us a great view to enjoy while we tried out what was offered here.

Maria and Enzo’s Ristorante offered us the Blood Orange Mule and a Connoli. We thought these were a great choice to help us wind down our meals and send us off with a lasting impression.

The Blood Orange Mule was made of Skyy blood orange vodka, Solerno blood orange liqueur, Fever-Tree blood orange ginger beer, and lime juice and we think it was a perfect choice for a beautiful evening drink.

This drink had a smooth, blood orange flavor to it without having to search for it, and the ginger beer commanded our taste buds’ attention almost instantly. It gave a nice bubbly tingle to our tongues and the lower tones of ginger were exceptional.
For the cannoli, we almost didn’t want to break into it either! It had a beautiful presentation and was made with sweet ricotta filling, candied orange, Amarena cherry, and chocolate chips.

We might have done some damage to its meticulous form but certainly didn’t disrupt its taste.

The candied orange and Amarena cherry were highly notable tastes against the creamy ricotta filling which was very sweet. We also approved of the addition of a few chocolate chips at one of the ends! Our only wish was that this one was a little longer because we wanted more!
Overall we had a great experience touring these restaurants during the Sip, Savor, & Stroll event and we think it would make an excellent addition to your trip as a way to explore new restaurants or have a special evening out with a different type of Disney World experience.
