It may only be March, but it is never too early to start dreaming about Christmas at Disney World!

From Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Magic Kingdom knows how to celebrate the holidays! And we just noticed a huge hint about the upcoming Christmastime parade this year.
We haven’t heard much about the Christmas season at Disney World (probably because it is only March). But, Walt Disney World recently posted a casting call for parade performers, so we know they are preparing. This posting went up yesterday and will be open through March 25th, 2024.

The role is for performers for Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade and Mickey’s Boo To You Halloween Parade. More specifically, Disney is looking for male presenting performers who are 5’1″ – 6’2″ and have training and experience in dance and performance. There is also a note that “these roles require athletic and cardio endurance, physical story-telling abilities, and strong performance energy.”

We are getting excited just thinking about the toy soldiers marching in unison and Mickey and Minnie dressed in their festive winter outfits. The performers must have availability beginning June 2024 through January 2025. Preparations for the Christmas season begin early at Disney World!

We think Christmas in Disney World really is one of the most wonderful times of the year, and we can’t wait to see what Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade has in store for us this year!
