A Disney Park Train Just Got a NEW Anniversary Look

One of the best parts of visiting select Disney Parks around the world is having access to the Monorail, or similar trains that quickly take you from one place to another with ✨ automagic ease. ✨

Over at Tokyo Disney, something has been added to the monorail/bullet train that takes you to the park that makes it even more magical. Let’s check it out!

In celebration of Tokyo Disney’s 40th Anniversary, The Disney Resort Line that runs between the JR Maihama Station and Tokyo Disney will be transformed to become the “Magical Dream Shinkansen.”

The trains will feature characters and colorful carriages to “commemorate the grand finale of ‘Tokyo Disney Resort 40th Anniversary Dream Go Round.'”

According to Traicy, “This initiative is to commemorate the grand finale of ‘Tokyo Disney Resort 40th Anniversary Dream Go Round,’ featuring colorful carriages with Disney characters dressed in special outfits for the resort’s 40th anniversary. The onboard melody will also be changed to tunes celebrating the 40th anniversary of Tokyo Disney Resort.”

The first train of the day departs Sendai at 9:44 am and arrives in Tokyo at 11:48 am. The service is scheduled to run until the end of March 2024, so you’ll have time to plan a last minute trip to Tokyo to take a ride on the Magical Dream Shinkansen. ?
