REVIEW: Could These Exclusive Treats at Universal Orlando Give Disney a Run for Its Money?

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and it’s also the most wonderful time to indulge in some great FOOD.

The holiday season is well underway in the theme parks, including Universal Orlando. Today, we’re taking you along with us to check out all of the FOOD that the park has to offer this holiday season. Let’s go!

Right now, there are tons of different offerings you can get around Universal Orlando.

We personally think the food can be split into two categories — “I’m coming home for Christmas” comfort food and “Suessical Whimsical.” We grabbed Max’s Smoked Brisket Skillet Hash first, and while it was a little oily, we loved how it reminded us of being in a cozy log cabin on Christmas Day. It has a great kick to it with the siracha, and overall, we definitely recommend it.

We also tried a Grinchmas Cookie, which was a cake batter sugar cookie that we LOVED. The texture felt like we were eating the softest angel cake-like cookie possible, and the peppermint treat on top gave us a fun little reminder that it was a holiday treat.

Lastly, we grabbed the Turkey Snack Dinner Sandwich made with artisan cranberry bread, roasted turkey, brie cheese, and orange cranberry aioli. This one fell flat because it was a little bland and dry. We think it could have benefitted from more orange cranberry aioli (but we would have preferred regular cranberry sauce) and the addition of some stuffing. So close, Universal!

Those were just the snacks we tried so far this year — we can’t wait to try the others as we celebrate the holidays in the park! Make sure to stay tuned to AllEasrs so that you are always in the loop.
