'Bluey' Fans REJOICE! A NEW Experience Is Coming in November!

Bust out your favorite video game console — we’ve got some big news to announce! A new Bluey adventure video game is coming out this fall, and we’re super excited to share all the details about this new game and what to expect!

Bluey is an Australian children’s animated show that first premiered in October 2018 and is still in production today. Now popular stateside through its streaming availability on Disney+, the show has cast of wide net of fandom, being loved by children and parents alike.

Based on the imaginative adventures of a six-year-old energetic Blue Heeler puppy named Bluey, the show finds creative ways to display themes of family life and growing up. Tackling sometimes tough life lessons in child-friendly ways, Bluey has become a critical hit that is now the top-viewed show on Disney+!

Spawning from this successful franchise now is a NEW video game. The game itself is called Bluey: The Videogame and releases on November 17th, 2023, on many different platforms — Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.

Bluey: The Videogame is published by family-friendly game developer Outright Games, in conjunction with BBC Studios. Outright Games has advertised the game as an immersive sandbox adventure that will take players into iconic locations from the show including Bluey’s home, Playgrounds, Creek, and a special beach location!

All of the game’s locations will be fully explorable, but they don’t have to be explored alone. Bluey: The Videogame can be a family experience with up to four playable characters! Players can choose to play as Bluey, her sister Bingo, her mother Chilli, or her father Bandit.

Players will definitely experience the show’s feel, as the game will also feature voice talents and music from Bluey! Additionally, some new music created by the development team is set to make an appearance.

Players will have options on how they want to play the game — solo or co-op play, and story mode or free play. Gameplay also features several minigames, including ones seen in the show. That’s right, now you can play “Keepy Uppy” and “Magic Xylophone” at home! Featuring an in-game rewards system, completing minigames will earn players new costumes, playable episodes, new locations, and stickers.

With four interactive episodes, tons of collectibles, and a multiplayer option, Bluey: The Videogame promises to be a good time for Bluey fans of all ages. As of today, the game can be added to a Wishlist on both the PlayStation Store and Steam Store in preparation for release day.
