Disney Shares NEW LOOK at ‘Frozen’ Roller Coaster Coming SOON!

Before writing this, the team had a little chat about how JEALOUS we are of Hong Kong Disneyland.

Why? Well, not only is Hong Kong Disneyland getting a whole Frozen-themed land, World of Frozen, Hong Kong Disneyland is also the home of the VERY FIRST Frozen–themed roller coaster. Yep, even though the park is getting their own version of Frozen Ever After, one of the things we’re most excited about is Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. So, in case you won’t be making it to Hong Kong for World of Frozen’s grand opening on November 20th, Disney has shared a NEW look of the coaster.

Disney shared a video showcasing a whole new perspective of the ride, and we are probably way too excited right now. Check it out!

The ride itself is inspired by the Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post and Sauna. Guests will board a sleigh that takes you around a mountain and even a waterfall!

Disney stated that the ride was created in close collaboration with artists and Imagineers to create a track and landscape that flowed seamlessly with the theming of the land.

Watching the video, the style of the track reminds us a lot of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Disney World! Disney shared a few photos of the ride as well, including what the “sleigh” looks like.

Wow! We’re crossing our fingers that we can someday visit Hong Kong Disneyland to check out what seems like an awesome coaster. Check out the queue!

While the ride alone is enough to make us want to visit, another thing we’re super pumped about is the Frozen-themed FOOD that’s coming to the park! Yep, you’ll be able to stop at Golden Crocus Inn and Bayside Wharf to grab some treats. Check out the Coronation Sundae!

That’s not all, though. Disney shared that you’ll also be able to grab the Arendelle Meatballs in a Mushroom Cream Sauce as well as the Innkeeper’s Special Braised Lamb Shank and Rosettes!
