Hurricane Evacuees and First Responders Can Get 50% Off a Disney World Hotel

If you’re watching the path of Hurricane Idalia, then you know it’s projected to hit the Gulf Coast of Florida on Wednesday morning.

We’ve been watching this hurricane closely to see the possible impact on Florida residents, as well as those traveling to the area for vacation. We’ve already got updates from Disney World about cancelation policies for packages, but what about those who are evacuating TO Disney World? We’ve got something for you too.

Disney World has announced that Florida residents evacuating from the storm and first responders assisting in storm-related recovery efforts may receive 50% off of a stay at a Disney World hotel on the evenings of August 29th-31st.

Disney’s Riviera Resort

This offer is subject to availability and applies to new bookings only. For evacuees, please call 407-W-DISNEY for details. For first responders, please call 407-828-3200 (Option 3).

Disney’s Pop Century Resort

Currently, change and cancelation fees are waived for Disney Resort guests with check-in dates from August 28th-September 4th. Guests who are currently staying on property may receive a discounted rate to extend their stay through the evening of August 31st if their travel plans were impacted by the storm.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort
