Tropical Storm Idalia is making its way towards Florida.

The situation is still developing, as weather experts are waiting to see how much the storm strengthens as it continues to travel over water. Disney World has released a statement ahead of the storm touching down, and now Universal has as well.
Universal Orlando has now issued a statement ahead of Tropical Storm Idalia saying, “At this time, our park operations and hours are continuing as normal. We are closely monitoring the weather. Please check back for updates.”

The park is closely monitoring the situation and advises guests to check the Universal Orlando website for the latest updates.

If you’re heading into Orlando this weekend to visit Universal Orlando or Disney World, keep in mind that plans for the parks can change on a dime as the storm develops, so get ready to be flexible. We here at AllEars will keep you updated with all the news as we hear it.
