NEW Look at Disney’s Reimagined Adventureland Treehouse

Rides and attractions can change in Disney parks.

New additions get added to rides like the long-awaited Hat Box Ghost coming to Disney World’s Haunted Mansion. We see some rides undergo refurbishment to make updated improvements and sometimes attractions get a whole new theming to give them a more updated feel.

In 2022, Disney announced that Tarzan’s Treehouse in Disneyland would be getting a retheme. Disneyland officials announced that Tarzan’s Treehouse will be getting a new theme and backstory. The attraction will remain a walkthrough treehouse, but Tarzan will no longer be a part of it. The project began in April 2022.

It was later announced that it would become the “Adventureland Treehouse” and be based on the original Swiss Family Robinson theming. Disney released concept art showing the new updates. While this attraction was expected to open in the spring of 2023, it remains under construction — but we have new updated photos.

You can see the updated treehouse is beginning to take shape and start to look more like the concept design. Scaffolding recently came down around the attraction.

There are also new rooms being added to the treehouse for members of the Swiss Robinson Family. You can see an expansion here beginning to take shape.

Previously, this was mostly hidden by scaffolding and covers so we are excited to see the new treehouse a little better. We can see more details like the bamboo walkways and lookout points guests will be able to use.

As we get closer to the reopening of the treehouse, we hope to hear more details. Stay tuned to AllEars.net for more.
