We might be biased, but there’s truly no bad time to visit the Disney Parks.

Hot or cold, rain or shine, there is always magic. However… there are a few times of year that are simply more ideal to visit the parks. One of our favorite months to visit Disneyland is April, when the temperature is moderately warm but not hot, and there isn’t rain or humidity to make it feel warmer than it really is. If you’re interested in going to Disneyland in April, we’re here to help you out with knowing what to wear and what to pack. Let’s go!
First, let’s go over some specifics. The average temperature in Anaheim in April ranges from around 50ºF to 73ºF. It’s generally chilly in the low 50s in the mornings and in the evenings, while it gets warmer around midday. If you’re planning to be in the parks all day, the key to success here is dressing in layers — things you can easily shed if you get a bit too warm.

We’ve come up with a few outfit ideas to give you some inspiration on what to pack so that you are comfortable for your April Disneyland trip. Let’s go!
Strawberry Spring
In the spring, we want all the pastels. This outfit features some denim shorts (it’s totally okay if you prefer ones that don’t have Minnie’s face up-close and personal on the leg) and an adorable pink sweater vest with strawberries. If you’ll be chilly in this alone, we recommend pairing it with a thin or sheer mock neck long-sleeve underneath. Add some white sneakers and some pink accessories and you’re good to go!
Spring Layers — Princess Edition
If you’re wanting to dress comfortably while still themed to your favorite Disney characters, a simple sweatshirt with denim shorts or even athleisure-style bottoms will do the trick. Check out these princess-inspired sweatshirts that are perfect for layering.
Pastel Mickey
This outfit could be great for both men and women with slight changes to the pieces included! We love this pastel Mickey tie-dye shirt when paired with some comfy pastel shorts. Add some black or white accessories and you have yourself a pastel outfit perfect for spring! Add a denim jacket over top if you’ll be cold.
Spring in Galaxy’s Edge
This one goes out to all the Star Wars fans! We love this sparkly tulle skirt paired with some black accessories and this white Star Wars tee. Add some more Star Wars accessories and you have yourself a springtime outfit! If you think you’ll be chilly in this, we think it would be super cute with a cropped leather or denim jacket.
Little Spring Song
Nothing screams spring like EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival, but the outfit works wonderfully at Disneyland, too. Pair a green skirt with a floral Disney-inspired tee, add some floral ears and accessories, and then some white sneakers. We love the daisy cardigan to go along with this one!
