Disney’s Hollywood Studios is certainly a fun theme park to visit.

There are some AMAZING rides, themed lands that will blow your mind (Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge), and a lot of fun nods to the golden age of Hollywood. However, when it comes to EATING at Hollywood Studios, we’ve got something to warn you about.
Now, there are a few table service restaurants to choose from at Hollywood Studios. You could make advance dining reservations at Hollywood & Vine, Hollywood Brown Derby, 50’s Prime Time Cafe, Mama Melrose’s, Roundup Rodeo BBQ, or Sci-Fi Dine-In. However, if you’re wanting to just eat counter service, you might find yourself suffering.

Suffering from what, you may ask? Well, the HEAT. Here’s the thing, almost EVERY quick service location at Hollywood Studios is OUTSIDE and if you’re looking to escape the Florida heat and humidity for lunch or dinner and don’t have a reservation at a table-service restaurant, you’re just going to have to sweat it out.
Let’s start with one of our favorite quick-service restaurants, Woody’s Lunch Box. ALL the seating is outside, and well, if you actually can FIND a seat (because there just isn’t enough), you should probably buy a lottery ticket that day, too. We love those Totchos but not so much in the summer when we’re eating them outdoors.

But Woody’s isn’t the only quick service spot that doesn’t have indoor seating. You’ll find the same at BaseLine Taphouse, Catalina Eddie’s, Dockside Diner, Fairfax Fare, The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge, Ronto Roasters, and Rosie’s All-American Cafe.

However, there are a FEW that have indoor seating, but in some instances, you may find that all the indoor seats are taken. You’ll find indoor seating at ABC Commissary, Backlot Express, PizzeRizzo, and Docking Bay 7. Yep, that’s it.

So if you plan on dining at Hollywood Studios and don’t want to sit outside in the heat, be sure to plan ahead by either making an advance dining reservation or hitting up one of these four spots that have indoor seating.
