Chadwick Boseman Will Receive Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

One of the highest honors an entertainer can get in Hollywood is a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Even Walt Disney himself has a star on the Walk of Fame, as well as the Muppets, Carrie Fisher, Mickey Mouse, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and more. Now, that honor is going to a few more Disney talents.

According to KABC, The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2024. This year’s class includes Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman, who passed away in 2020. He and singer Otis Redding will receive posthumous stars.

Marvel head Kevin Feige will also receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this year.

Other film honorees include Gal Gadot, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Chris Meledandri, Chris Pine, Christina Ricci, and Michelle Yeoh. TV honorees include Ken Jeong, Eugene Levy, Mario Lopez, Jim Nantz, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Jane Krakowski,  Michael Schur, Kerry Washington, Raúl De Molina, and Lili Estefan.

Recording artists receiving stars include Brandy Norwood (Cinderella from Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella), as well as Glen Ballard, Toni Braxton, Def Leppard, Charles Fox, Sammy Hagar, Brandy Norwood, Darius Rucker, and Gwen Stefani.

In sports, Billie Jean King and Carl Weathers will be honored with stars.
