Please, for My Wallet’s Sake, Convince Me NOT to Buy This $175 Disney World Item

Alright, Disney might be getting a little out of control with these expensive souvenirs.

Disney Bags

Sure, we’ve seen how cute, but pricey Dooney and Bourke bags are in the parks.  We know a new pair of Minnie Ears can cost us almost $40. And don’t even get us started on the $250,000 souvenir at Magic Kingdom. While we love shiny things, our wallets need a break and now, we got a NEW souvenir that’s causing an internal debate.

Recently, we found these Havaianas flip-flops at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Except, they aren’t your normal $10 pair of sandals. These have Swarovski crystals on them. If you love them, you better be willing to empty your wallet because they are $175.

No, that’s not a typo — this pair of shoes will cost you $175! While a typical Disney pair of Havaianas will cost under $40, these are blinged out. We’d feel pretty fabulous walking around in these!

Havaianas

We also found them at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and this time, not behind glass! While we know that they aren’t necessarily practical to walk 10 miles in the parks (in fact we highly do NOT recommend wearing flip flops to Disney World), it doesn’t make them any less cute.

Not behind the glass

Alright, now talk us down from this purchase because we calculated and we could buy 22 Mickey pretzels — so priorities, right? For more Disney parks stories and updates, be sure to follow us at AllEars.
