Disney World just seems to be a hot spot of construction lately!
We’ve seen construction on Disney’s BoardWalk as Trattoria al Forno undergoes construction, and we’ve also run into some construction in the lobby of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Of course, we can’t forget the ongoing construction at Magic Kingdom as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is being brought to life. Now, though, we’ve run into construction at yet another Disney World theme park. Let’s check it out!
We were visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom and ran into some construction walls near Harambe Market. While the walls didn’t hinder our ability to enter the area, it did cause there to be less room when using the walkway.
We talked to a Cast Member about the construction, and they told us that the workers were “touching up the facade.” This told us that it was likely routine maintenance and/or repairs. Nothing too serious, by the looks of it!
It’s unclear how long the construction will last, but if what the Cast Member said is true, it shouldn’t be too lengthy! Usually, construction like this is done to ensure the parks continue to look well-kept and on-theme.
We’ll continue to keep you updated with any and all Disney news, construction included! Make sure to follow along so that you’re always in the loop and never caught off-guard by construction.
