Disney World just dropped a ton of new discounts and news about holiday parties — so if you’re thinking about planning a trip, we don’t blame you!

But, there’s a lot you need to be prepared for before your visit, and more changes are on the way. New restaurants, rides, hotel renovations, and more updates are happening all around Disney World — and these are just some of the latest.
We’re keeping an eye out on recently filed permits that might clue us in on changes coming to Disney World. In fact, one was filed for changes coming to a new ride — Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Even though this ride is newer, that doesn’t mean it can’t be updated, and it looks like some work will be done to “install door tracks” sometime soon.

This doesn’t seem like a huge deal, but it’s interesting that it’s a Walt Disney Imagineering permit, which usually points to some sort of changes being made to the ride or ride theming itself. We’ll keep an eye out!

Changes could be coming to DinoLand U.S.A.! We spotted a few permits for spots within this Disney’s Animal Kingdom spot. The permits all appear to be for “general construction” with Carter Electric and will automatically expire in 1 year.
The work looks like it’s connected to addresses for Mammoth Marathon, Fossil Fueler, Crashin’ Comets, and Bronto Score.

We saw permits related to Jungle Cruise filed last week, but a new permit shows work might be coming to the main queue area for the ride as well. This one isn’t set to expire for an entire year, so we might not see updates for a while.

Over in Frontierland, Country Bear Jamboree might be getting a refresh. A “general construction” permit was filed by Neth & Son, who appear to focus on roofing. Those Country Bears might have a fresh roof over there heads before we know it.

And of course — more work is coming to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. It’s no surprise since this attraction is going through quite a transformation, but another new permit has been filed. This one looks like it’s for the “installation of show sets” which points to some exciting theming and design changes.

We’ll be keeping an eye out for more interesting Disney World permits, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest.
