Breakfast Is BACK at One of the Best Character Dining Restaurants in Disney World!

Breakfast in Disney World is a favorite meal of many guests.

Maybe it’s because the prices are cheaper for breakfast than lunch and dinner at most table service restaurants, or that starting your day off with delicious food and/or a character experience puts a smile on everyone’s face. We were so excited to hear that breakfast was returning to one popular Disney World restaurant soon, and now that day has finally come — come with us to check it out!

Garden Grill Restaurant is located in The Land Pavilion in EPCOT, looking down over Living With the Land. Garden Grill is a table service restaurant that offers character meals — for a while, only lunch and dinner have been available, but now breakfast has RETURNED!

We snagged an early reservation on June 14th when breakfast service returned. Once we headed to The Land Pavilion and checked in, it was time to get seated!

If you’ve dined here before, then you know that the circular restaurant rotates slowly throughout your meal. As you dine, you’ll be able to look out over scenes from Living With the Land. Many of the tables here are booth-style, just like this one!

This meal is served family-style, meaning it’s brought to your table.

You start out with the Cinnamon Breakfast Loaf and Fresh Fruit, which for us, was a plate of watermelon.

This meal is $42 per adult and $27 per child, plus tax and gratuity. The price of your meal includes basic beverages like soda, tea, and coffee.

After the starters, the main breakfast skillet was brought to our table. This includes smoked bacon, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, Mickey waffles, cheesy potato casserole, and grilled flank steak with ranchero sauce. Sounds yummy!

For an additional cost, you can purchase specialty beverages to go with your meal, like a Bloody Mary or Mimosa. There’s also a kid-friendly drink — this Specialty Character Drink for $6.50. It’s made with lemonade and cotton candy flavoring and comes in a souvenir cup.

You’ll get to meet multiple different characters during this meal, like Farmer Mickey, Pluto, and Chip ‘n’ Dale. They come around to your table, where you can hug them, take pictures, and get some autographs.

This is the only character meal in Disney World where you can see the chipmunks, so we were very excited to say hello!

The character interactions during this meal were so much fun!
