NEW Look at Disney’s Upcoming ‘Frozen’ Rides

Frozen fans — get ready for an exciting update!

Anna and Elsa

The much-anticipated Frozen land in Hong Kong Disneyland (called the World of Frozen) will be a thrilling exploration into the magical realm of Arendelle. We’ve seen a few sneak peeks of this new land and its rides in the past, but now Disney has shared a new update that’ll leave you ready to go on an enchanting journey.

The World of Frozen will open at Hong Kong Disneyland this November, and there will be a lot to check out. Disney Parks has shared a new look at some of this land and its rides via Twitter and other social media platforms.

First up, we’ve got a NEW look at one of the rides in this land — Frozen Ever After. This ride already exists in EPCOT (in the Norway pavilion), but a slightly different version of it will open at Hong Kong Disneyland this year.

The end of the ride appears to be pretty similar to the EPCOT version, with Anna, Elsa, and Olaf welcoming guests back from their visit. But there’s an important difference. The animatronics for Hong Kong do NOT appear to have projections on their faces like they do in EPCOT. Instead, they have more “standard” animatronic faces.

Here’s a look at the EPCOT version for comparison.

Disney has also shared glimpses of the ride queue. You can see where Kristoff’s Ice Master & Deliverer of Arendelle sign is…

…and there will be lanterns illuminating the royal deck.

A video of some parts of the ride and reactions to the ride has also been shared by michael.e.moriarty and Imagineering on Instagram. Check it out below!

But wait…there’s MORE! Disney has also shared a closer look at Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs, including some of the ride’s testing! We got to see some of the testing as shared in a previous video as well.
