2023 is a great time to plan a trip to Disneyland Resort.
With the Disney100 celebrations happening, the newly opened Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway ride, and plenty of new entertainment offerings, there’s so much to see in the parks right now. And if you’re a California resident, we’ve got a special deal for you.
Disneyland Resort has announced a California resident ticket offer where you can purchase two different ticket types at a significant discount. The tickets are valid from June 12th-September 28th and theme park reservations are still required.
We saw a somewhat similar offer announced at the beginning of 2023, but that one only lasted through May 25th. So now Disney is bringing back the deal for the summer!
The two summer ticket offers are as follows:
- 3-Day Ticket (Monday to Thursday), 1-Park Per Day Ticket — $249 ($83/Day), Not Valid for Admission on Fridays to Sundays
- 3-Day (Monday to Sunday), 1-Park Per Day Ticket — $299 ($100/Day), No Blockout Dates Apply
You can add Park Hopper and Genie+ to these tickets for an additional fee. The tickets are only available for California residents from zip codes 90000 to 96199. Each visitor who is 18 or older must show proof of residency for purchase and admission.
Disney warns, “Theme park reservations for California Resident ticket holders are limited in number and are subject to the availability of park reservations allocated to the California Resident tickets as determined by Disney, applicable blockout dates and theme park capacity.”
Here are some other things to know:
- Eligible residents may purchase up to 5 tickets per day with valid ID.
- Tickets can be used on nonconsecutive days during the ticket validity period.
- Tickets that are valid only Monday through Thursdays are blocked out every Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the following dates: June 16-18, 23-25, 30; July 1, 2, 7-9, 14-16, 21-23, 28-30; August 4-6, 11-13, 18-20, 25-27; September 1-3, 8-10, 15-17, 22-24, 2023.
- Tickets are nonrefundable, may not be sold or transferred for commercial use and exclude activities and events separately priced.
