FIRST LOOK at Disney’s NEW 100th Anniversary Fireworks Show

It certainly is shaping up to be a big year for Disney.

The 100th anniversary celebration is here!

Today, Disney kicks off celebrating their 100th Anniversary with a ride opening, new merchandise, and new experiences, and now, it’s time for new nighttime shows. Come with us to see Wondrous Journeys for the first time!

Wondrous Journeys is a NEW nighttime show at Disneyland for the 100th Anniversary of the Walt Disney Company! It all kicks off tonight, but we were lucky enough to catch a preview of the new spectacular. As the show started, Sleeping Beauty Castle was all aglow with light!

Then, the projections started appearing on the castle — featuring nods to every film released by Walt Disney Animation Studios, with 18 different songs throughout — and we were off on a journey through 100 years of magic.

Hello, Pooh!

One of the newer Disney films featured in Wondrous Journeys is Encanto — and the sequence is absolutely incredible! See it for yourself below.

And here are some of the fantastic fireworks featured while “Out There” from The Hunchback of Notre Dame plays with castle projections of the film.

It was such an incredible show and homage to Disney animation throughout 100 magical years. You can catch Wondrous Journeys at Disneyland Park nightly at 9:30PM. Disney showtimes are subject to change, so make sure you check the Disneyland app on the date of your visit for the most accurate information.
