Two MAJOR Rides Are Closed in Magic Kingdom

From snagging your Advanced Dining Reservations to researching Genie+, there are many things to keep in mind to ensure you have a smooth trip. Sometimes, the best thing you can do is to prepare for the unexpected.

If your whole day is scheduled to a T, you might run into an issue that throws a wrench into your plans. Unfortunately, rides temporarily close unexpectedly sometimes — occasionally, multiple popular attractions can close simultaneously!

This morning in Magic Kingdom, four attractions were closed at the same time, two of which are popular coasters! Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, AND Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress were all down at ONCE!

Ride closures like these can get back up and running pretty quickly sometimes, but you never know when a ride could be closed for the better part of the day. If you do have a few must-dos, we’d suggest making those a priority first thing in the morning just in case!
