It’s no secret that Disney World days can be long!

It seems like Disney World days are getting even busier with new rides like Tron opening, new restaurants opening, and the ending of the 50th-anniversary celebration. As these days get longer, it’s important for us to know what makeup genuinely lasts all day!
In the heat of Disney World, it’s hard to tell what makeup will actually survive throughout the day. After you’ve spent lots of money on different products, you hate to have them running down your face by the end of the day. That’s why I put my favorite drugstore makeup to the test!

I personally go to Disney World every day, so this particular project means a lot to me. I put my makeup on starting around 8AM when I stayed at Fort Wilderness resort! I took photos throughout the day to document this science project, and I did not put filters on them so you can see the true results.

I use several different makeup products, but my favorite is this Dream Fresh BB Cream by Maybelline that I use as a foundation because of the extra sunscreen coverage. I also love the Epic Ink Vegan Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner! These two products are my favorite staples. I finally made it to the Ticket and Transportation Center around 11AM.

After running around the resort for a while, I was excited to see that the makeup was holding on strong. For my eyeshadow, you can almost always bet that I’m wearing a Colourpop palette. On this day, I had on the Send Nudes Palette, which is actually on sale right now. The next picture I took was around 12:30PM.

I actually cried watching the Festival of Fantasy Parade, but you care barely tell! I was wearing the MILK KUSH Volumizing Mascara which is one of the only splurges in my makeup collection. My Maybelline Fit Me Liquid Concealer also held up nicely!

Around 2PM, I finally could start seeing some wear and tear, especially on my lipstick. I have on the Colourpop Virgo Moon Lipstick which I adore — but maybe it isn’t meant for a hot Orlando day! At 3PM, I took more pictures and was really surprised!

I could see a bit of a smear from my NYX Contour Stick but my blush, which is a MILK Lip and Cheek Stick, was still sticking around! I was actually pretty impressed with these products at this point. Finally, I headed out of the park around 5PM!

You can see the sweat on my upper lip and oil around my nose but overall, I was super happy with my makeup! It was around 90 degrees outside this day, and I thought it would look significantly worse at this point. The main difference I could personally see was in my lipstick.

Overall, I was thrilled with this scientific experiment! I would love to try this again on a day when I’m in the parks from open to close, so let me know in the comments if you would be interested in that. Don’t forget to keep following AllEars for all of your Disney Style tips and tricks!

What makeup would you like me to test in the parks? Tell me in the comments!

Yes another post on your makeup for a full day at the park would be awesome! Also any tips and what you actually touch up at the parks would be helpful. You always look so put together in the YouTube videos!
Hi Lindsay! I shared your sweet comment with Emma and she said that she didn’t touch up her makeup at all that day. She loves everything that she has listed because it has real staying power at the parks.
I would love to know how you reapply sunscreen over makeup without damaging the makeup. Thank you!
Stuff like this is so helpful. I want to know what sunblock is best, especially for women with melasma. If and how you’d reapply throughout the day, especially if you’re wearing makeup. If you do a blog like this, I want to be the first to know!
This is great and I’d love to see other members of All Ears do the same challenge! I will be going to Orlando this July and am dreading the heat and not sure if my makeup will hold up! Thanks Emma!
Thank you for posting! Going in August and have been fretting over make up options!
Thank you for the recommendations! It’s hard to find good makeup for humid climates
