It may be springtime, but it feels like the season of change around the theme park world.
Disneyland is celebrating Disney’s 100th anniversary, Disney World is quite the construction zone at the moment, and a whole new park is being built at Universal Orlando! Speaking of which, we’ve got an update on another new attraction coming to Universal.
Back in December 2022, Universal revealed that the Shrek 4-D experience would close and be replaced with something new.
That “something new” is Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast, an “interactive, blaster game experience [that] will invite guests to put their villainous skills to the test as they compete against each other in a bid to join the ranks of the franchise’s most infamous supervillains.”
We had seen a few construction updates here and there from the outside of this ride, but now we’re seeing even more exciting elements have been added! In addition to the banners flanking the center of the building, the ride sign has also been installed. It’s looking awfully evil if you ask us!
And it looks like even more evil stuff can be found just beneath this arrow. We can’t tell what kind of evil stuff may be lurking below, but we can’t wait to find out!
