Wow, you just never know how far Bob Iger will go!
The second-time Disney CEO recently visited Disneyland Paris amid the Grand Finale celebrations and visited checked on progress at the upcoming Frozen-themed land. Here’s how that visit went!
In a recent post to Walt Disney Imagineering’s Instagram account, we caught a glimpse of a grinning Bob Iger checking out the Frozen-themed land construction in Disneyland Paris.
Natacha Rafalski, the President of Disneyland Paris, wrote “This morning, we had the pleasure of welcoming Bob Iger to see the progress of our ambitious transformation, including the ongoing expansion of Walt Disney Studios Park which celebrates its 21st Anniversary today and the future of @DisneylandParis.”
The last significant visit Bob Iger made out to Disneyland Paris was in 2018 to help announce new projects. Since his last visit, Natacha pointed out they’ve made significant strides and investments in the park’s expansion efforts including the new immersive land of Marvel Avengers Campus that opened in 2022.
The latest expansion at Walt Disney Studios Park is for a Frozen-themed land that will feature park exclusives pulled from the animated movie franchise such as the Kingdom of Arendale and village area, Elsa’s Ice Castle which will be fixed atop a 131-foot mountain to be admired from the land, a brand new attraction with “Frozen” characters, and even royal meet and greets.
