Things are CHANGING for Annual Passholders in Disney World.

Disney has officially revealed just WHEN an important Park Pass change will begin for Passholders, giving them the ability to enter Disney World’s theme parks on most days after 2PM without a Park Pass. But in addition to that change, we now know about some other perks Disney is adding to the Passholder program.
Disney has announced some special passholder perks will become available starting March 20th!
First up, beginning March 20th, Passholders will get access to Disney PhotoPass lenses. These AR lenses are typically available for those who buy Genie+ and they allow you to add some extra fun to your photos with backgrounds that include the Birthday Cake Castle, or you can transform yourself into the Genie from Aladdin for some really unique shots.

But wait, there’s more. Starting March 20th, Passholders will also get ONE complimentary Cinderella Castle Mural of Memories experience. With this experience, you get to virtually transform Cinderella castle with your photos. Basically, you can digitally pin your photo onto a spot on the Castle and then you and other guests can view photos during visits to Magic Kingdom throughout the 50th Anniversary celebration.
The experience usually costs $9.99, but Passholders will get to do it ONCE for free. You’ll get a special video of your photo flying from the castle which you can share with friends. Some age restrictions apply so just keep that in mind. Learn more about the experience here.

And there’s one MORE perk that has been announced. Starting March 20th, Passholders will also get access to a NEW offering where they’ll be able to “create and share short Disney-themed video slideshows” made of their favorite photos from their park visits.
So if you absolutely love taking photos and sharing those with friends and family, it sounds like you’ll have a lot to look forward to.

Remember that an important Passholder change relating to Park Pass reservations will also kick in soon — on April 18th. You can click here to learn more about that.
