The Disney 100th Celebration is finally here and we’re celebrating 100 years of animation, but which characters were found important enough in Walt Disney animated history to make the lineup?

It’s fun when LEGO releases new Disney collections! In past releases, we’ve seen Star Wars, Mickey and Minnie models, rides and attractions, and even Cinderella Castle with the fab five characters! This 100th celebration set sure didn’t disappoint us either!

LEGO notes that this set is a 501 piece set buildable for suggested ages 10 and up featuring a “parade of stars”. Each of the 4 classic characters at is 3.5 inches (9cm) tall and we think they’re just the cutest!

For this iconic set, LEGO teamed up with BrickHeadz to build the ultimate tribute to Walt Disney animation. There also seems to be a story behind each of the chosen characters as well! Oswald the Lucky Rabbit was chosen because he was the first character that Walt Disney created. Of course, Mickey Mouse as Steamboat Willie would be included because that was the first Walt Disney animated short. Snow White was chosen as she was the main character of the first animated feature film, and Tinker Bell was added for some extra pixie dust.

We can’t wait to get our hands on these and build them out for our own displays (or to play with!) This set is available now on the LEGO website and is priced at $39.99. Should you happen to order directly from LEGO, this set will also earn you VIP points.
