You Want Thingamabobs? Disney World's New Minnie Ears Have 20!

Disney is constantly coming out with new designs for their iconic ear headbands. Often, we see familiar characters used as the inspiration multiple times and somehow they still manage to keep things fresh!

Each Disney Princess probably has had at least a dozen different and unique ear headbands based off of them and their various outfits.

The latest royal to receive a new pair of ears is none other than Princess Ariel herself! Today in Disney World we spotted these new Little Mermaid Minnie Ears at the Creations Shop in EPCOT. These ears are BLINGED out, and we think Ariel would approve. The color scheme is a light pastel take on her classic seafoam green and purple look, paired with a variety of textures and materials that come together for a glitzy effect.

Little Mermaid Ears

The headband is covered in a crushed velvet in a light seafoam color that compliments the iridescent seashells. These seashells come together to form the bow on the ears and shift from pink to blue to green. A large 3D purple seashell is the centerpiece of the bow.

Pearls and iridescence

Each ear is encrusted with a thick layer of glitter and then dotted with pearls. It looks like they got all of the pieces for these ears straight out of Ariel’s grotto!

We also saw these ears for sale in the Emporium in Magic Kingdom. Here they are on display next to the Regency Ruffles Minnie Ears.
